摘要: The purpose of this investigation was to describe the training history and injury experience competitive skier with a disability. A retrospective survey administered 68 athletes who participated in National Handicapped Sports United States Association for Blind Athletes Winter Games held March 1989. frequency, length, specific components practice session were obtained. definition any trauma participant that occurred during practice, training, or resulted cessation, limitation, modification athlete's participation at least 24 hours. practiced aerobic, anaerobic, strength activities two times week less. Upper extremities injured 1.4 more often than lower extremities. number chronic injuries greater acute both upper extremity. thigh knee involved 30% injuries, followed by shoulder (25%), neck spine (15%). For shoulder, thigh/knee complex, arm elbow accounted 73.3% total reported. disability incurred approximately same proportion as without Conditioning programs should be developed emphasize aerobic anaerobic energy systems reduce injuries.
