Comparison of Growth Characteristics, and Extract and Crude Saponin Contents in 4- Year-Old Ginseng Cultured by Direct Seeding and Transplanting Cultivation

摘要: This study was carried out to compare growth characteristics, and extract crude saponin contents of 4-year-old ginseng cultured by direct seeding transplanting cultivation at several farms the main producing district, Geumsan Eumsung. Though root weight per plant lower than that cultivation, but yield former higher latter owing high rate survival Leaf Area Index. Dry matter partitioning ratio in primary low secondary because elongated length root, while it suppressed root. Ratio rusty decreased condition were cultivation.
