On numerical and approximate solutions for stagnation point flow involving third order fluid

摘要: This article addresses the two-dimensional boundary layer flow of third order fluid in region a stagnation point over surface lubricated with power law fluid. The lubricant is assumed to have thin variable thickness surface. experiences partial slip due this lubrication layer. Mathematical model problem represented through system nonlinear differential equations conditions. non-similar numerical and analytic solutions transformed ordinary equation are obtained using hybrid homotopy analysis method based on combination shooting methods. It observed that extra drag force required achieve no-slip regime from full thus has suppressed effects free stream velocity. results varying case discussed under influence pertinent parameters.
