摘要: Background: To evaluate the effect of trigger point dry needling alone or as an adjunct with other interventions on pain and related disability in people knee pain. Methods: Several electronic databases were searched for randomized controlled trials where at least one group received Studies had to include human subjects collect outcomes pain-related musculoskeletal Data extracted by two reviewers. The risk bias was assessed Cochrane Guidelines, methodological quality Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro) score, evidence using GRADE approach. Standardized mean differences (SMD) calculated. Results: Ten studies (six patellofemoral pain, osteoarthritis, post-surgery pain) included. meta-analysis found moderate sizes reducing (SMD −0.53, 95% CI −0.87 −0.19) improving −0.58, −1.08 −0.09) compared a comparison short-term. main observed −0.64, −1.17 −0.11). No significant effects mid- long-term follow-ups. generally low, but heterogenicity imprecision results downgraded level evidence. Conclusion: Low suggests positive not osteoarthritis More high-quality investigating are clearly needed.
