摘要: Abstract In this study, we report the first measurements of wavelength and pulse length dependence ablation thresholds in glassy As 2 Se 3 . Ablation yields, obtained from time-of-flight spectra were compared to laser intensity curves obtain thresholds. The by tuning Vanderbilt–Keck free electron range 3.2–5 μm. Pulse with a 5 μs macropulse 3.2–5 μm macropulses ranging 200 1000 ns at 3.5 μm. threshold did not indicate that impurity absorption was major factor process decreased wavelengths corresponding higher photon energies. addition, sharp increase observed decrease length. Optical images craters intensities above reveal significant melting on sample surface. We will discuss terms multi-photon cumulative heating process.
