摘要: Summary Background:  Rural longitudinal placements are now a key part of clinical medical education, and workforce strategies to enhance the rural workforce. Learning trajectories (a map guide student learning) have been recommended as means maximising learning on placements, potential assist long-term students supervisors in adapting clerkship. Context:  This study focuses year-3 at an Australian graduate-entry school. Innovation:  article reports outcomes working with current develop trajectory across stream year, for implementation future years. Implications:  Students identified incremental goals keeping Dreyfus’s model progressive skill development. offered tips adjust variations experiences sites. Some were reluctant trajectory, fearing it would be seen proscriptive reduce ambition varied rich experiences. Future research will focus impact trajectory.
