摘要: Infertility rates for both females and males have increased continuously in recent years. Currently, effective treatments male infertility with defined mechanisms or targets are still lacking. G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) the largest class of drug targets, but their functions implications therapeutic development largely remain elusive. Nevertheless, studies shown that several members GPCR superfamily play crucial roles maintenance ion-water homeostasis epididymis, efferent ductules, formation blood-epididymal barrier maturation sperm. Knowledge functions, genetic variations working such GPCRs, along drugs ligands relevant to specific provide future directions a great arsenal new developments treatment infertility.
