摘要: Understanding the causes and consequences of population phenotypic divergence is a central goal in ecology evolution. Phenotypic among populations can result from genetic divergence, plasticity or combination two. However, few studies have deciphered these mechanisms for geographically close connected by gene flow, especially case personality traits. In this study, we used common garden experiment to explore basis observed between two blue tit (Cyanistes caeruleus) inhabiting contrasting habitats separated 25 km, traits (exploration speed handling aggression), one physiological trait (heart rate during restraint) morphological (tarsus length body mass). Blue nestlings were removed their raised up 5 years. We then compared adult phenotypes populations, as well trait-specific Qst Fst . Our results revealed differences similar those found wild, suggesting all -Fst comparisons that divergences likely dissimilar selection patterns rather than drift. study first report comparison adds growing evidence possible at small scale variety including behavioural
