摘要: We use a survey of small rural enterprises from Tanzania to identify subjective as well objective obstacles expansion and productivity the country's non-farm sector. Our results suggest that infrastructure constraints significantly reduce participation in sector investment by existing enterprises. Such are particularly harmful for enterprises, suggesting policies improve delivery key public services can provide basis development, with possible knock-on effects on poverty reduction.
