摘要: Introduction: Words are not processed in isolation but rich contexts that used to modulate and facilitate language comprehension. Here, we investigate distinct neural networks underlying two types of contexts, the current linguistic environment verb-based syntactic preferences. Methods: We had main manipulations. The first was environment, where relative frequencies structures (prepositional object [PO] double-object [DO]) would either follow everyday experience or not. second concerned preference toward one other structure depending on verb; learned use stored memory. German participants were reading PO DO sentences while brain activity measured with functional magnetic resonance imaging. Results: First, anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) showed a pattern activation integrated experience. When input did match experience, unexpected frequent higher ACC than conditions more connectivity from posterior parts network. Second, surprisal seeing given verb (PO presentation) resulted, within network (left inferior frontal left middle/superior temporal gyrus) precuneus, increased compared predictable verb-structure pairing. Conclusion: In conclusion, (1) beyond canonical network, areas engaged prediction error signaling, such as ACC, might statistics processing, (2) is directly processing These show influences sentence processing.
