摘要: With advances in polymerization techniques as well selective chemical modification of carbohydrates, glycopolymers and glyco-nanoparticles are emerging an important class materials with tailored properties or novel nanotechnology-based platforms for a number applications. The field the so-called glyco-nanotechnology is starting to show some promises future clinical Glyco-nanoparticles, due their versatile nature, could offer platform design carbohydrate-based vaccines possibly allow development new single-dose disease areas unmet need. This paper surveys roles polymeric nanomaterials biomolecular recognition processes vaccine development.
