摘要: Utilization of polymers as biomaterials has greatly impacted the advancement modern medicine. Specifically, polymeric that are biodegradable provide significant advantage being able to be broken down and removed after they have served their function. Applications wide ranging with degradable used clinically surgical sutures implants. In order fit functional demand, materials desired physical, chemical, biological, biomechanical degradation properties must selected. Fortunately, a range natural synthetic been investigated for biomedical applications novel constantly developed meet new challenges. This review summarizes most recent advances in field over past 4 years, specifically highlighting interesting discoveries tissue engineering drug delivery applications.
