摘要: This paper presents a numerical study of natural convection cooling heat source horizontally attached to the left vertical wall cavity filled with copper-water nanofluid. The is kept at constant temperature, while other ones are adiabatic. approach based on finite volume method collocated grid arrangement. SIMPLE algorithm used for handling pressure velocity coupling. In this study, influence some effective parameters such as: Rayleigh number, location and geometry solid concentration studied discussed. Results presented in form streamlines, isotherms, average Nusselt number. results show that dimension an important parameter affecting flow pattern temperature field, so number decreases increase length heater. It also observed given definite geometry, increases linearly fraction numbers strengthens flows which leads decrease temperature. computer code have been compared order verify validate model.
