摘要: We describe how to calculate the Jones matrix transfer function of a fiber if its principal states polarization and differential group delay as functions frequency are known. Using two counterexamples related second-order mode dispersion (PMD), we also show that previous method used for same purpose induces overestimation PMD effects by factor 2. Our new is solve problem both counterexamples.
