摘要: Stratosphere-troposphere exchange could be enhanced by tropopause folding, linked to variability in the subtropical jet stream. Relevant tropospheric biogeochemistry is irreversible transport from stratosphere, associated with deep intrusions. Here, oxygen anomalies near surface air CO2 are used study where triple isotopes of distinct those originating Earth’s surface. We show that anomaly observable at sea level and magnitude signal increases during course our sampling period (September 2013-February 2014), concordant strengthening system East Asia winter monsoon. The trend found 0.1‰/month (R2 = 0.6) development October. Implications for utilizing biogeochemical cycle stratospheric intrusion flux discussed.
