摘要: Abstract Introduction The aim of this study was to evaluate in vitro a new protocol for removing intraradicular retainers from multirooted teeth applying ultrasonic vibration. Methods Forty mandibular molars were endodontically treated receive cast retainers, which distributed into the following 4 groups: group 1: control without slot and ultrasound, 2: with 3: vibration in core slot, 4: slot. After cemented zinc phosphate, applied 1 minute. test specimens then submitted traction universal testing machine at speed 1 mm/min. maximum force required remove retainer recorded newtons, data statistically analyzed using analysis variance Tukey-Kramer (P  Results results showed significant differences among the groups tested (group 1 = 234.34 N, 2 201.67 N, 3 139.57 N, 83.23 N). lowest mean value when on Conclusions Creating ultrasound application all surfaces inside reduced metal phosphate.
