摘要: Thin film composite (TFC) nanofiltration membranes with defined porous structure of the separation layer are desirable for concentration neutral solute and salts from a mixture. Herein, we report formation TFC composed polyamide (PA) by interfacial polymerization between new dextran-butyl amine (Dex-NH2) macromonomer trimesoyl chloride on polysulfone support membrane. The prepared 1%–1.5% (wt/vol) Dex-NH2 exhibited water permeance 110–116 L m−2 h−1 MPa−1 62%–71% rejection Na2SO4 12%–14% MgCl2. also showed about 91% poly(ethylene glycol) molecular weight 2000 g/mol 11% NaCl. A decrease in ions selectivity was observed increasing Dex-NH2. dextran chains attached to PA network restrict diffusion toward zone thereby assist thin compared that when free (alkyl diamine) used. These applicable small solutes mixture containing monovalent salts. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym. Sci. 2017, 134, 45301.
