摘要: The US health care system has become increasingly unsustainable, threatened by poor quality and spiraling costs. Many Americans are not receiving recommended preventive care, including cancer screening tests. Passage of the Affordable Care Act in March 2010 potential to reverse this course increasing access primary providers, extending coverage affordability insurance, instituting proven measures. In order for reform succeed, it will require a stronger workforce, new emphasis on patient-centered payment incentives that reward over quantity. Innovations such as medical homes, accountable organizations, improved reporting methods central features redesigned delivery ultimately change face United States.
