摘要: A new and very rich body of data, the Social Security Administration's Retirement History Study, is used to study microeconomic determinants early retirement among white married men aged 58-63. We analyze three categories factors: personal financial characteristics, local labor market conditions, certain attributes individual's job. find that health status current eligibility for other pensions are most important there a definite interaction between two. The effects (and explanatory variables) fall primarily on those with limitations.
