摘要: Recent major advances in mechanical ventilation have resulted new exciting modes of assisted ventilation. Compared to traditional such as assisted-controlled or pressure support ventilation, these offer a number physiological advantages derived from the improved patient control over ventilator. By implementing advanced closed-loop systems and using information on lung mechanics, respiratory muscle function drive, are specifically designed improve patient-ventilator synchrony reduce work breathing. Depending their specific operational characteristics, can assist spontaneous breathing efforts synchronically time magnitude, adapt changing demands, implement automated weaning protocols, introduce more variability pattern. Clinicians now possibility individualize optimize ventilatory assistance during complex transition fully controlled The growing evidence clinical benefits is favoring progressive introduction into practice. Future trials should our understanding help determine whether claimed result better outcomes.
