摘要: Received: Revised: Accepted: October 01, 2012 April 2013 August 22, Cattle lungs (n=1200) obtained from abattoir of 10 districts Balochistan were processed for isolation and identification Mycoplasma species. A total 156 isolates produced typical fried egg colonies on Modified Hayflick’s agar medium 87.8% preliminarily identified as species, 12.2% species Acholeplasmas. All the digitonin sensitive further subjected to different biochemical PCR tests identification. Overall prevalence M. bovis samples slaughter house was 9%. Among isolates; 108 bovis, 29 mycoides subsp. capri (Mmc) 16 arginini through tests. subcluster members validated RFLP. subspecies small colony type (Mmm SC) not isolated any lung samples. isolated, highest number observed Quetta district (16%) followed by Pishin (15%), Zhob (11%) Kalat (10%). Conversely lowest found in Bolan (2%) Jaffarabad (3%), 4%, each Khuzdar, Mustung, Killasaifullah 7% Sibi district. Statistical analysis using chi square test, showed a significance difference (χ2=33.38) recovery cattle slaughtered Balochistan. ©2013 PVJ. rights reserved
