摘要: An experimental study was carried out to investigate the cyclic deformation characteristic and ratchetting behaviour of a hypereutectoid high strength rail steel subjected uniaxial non-proportionally compression-torsion loadings. The material investigated under symmetrical strain cycling. studied asymmetrical stress cycling with different mean stresses amplitudes multiaxial axial stresses, equivalent non-proportional loading paths. It is shown that responding amplitude decreases number, i.e., exhibits softening increases amplitude, but behaves differently tension compression. strongly depends not only on shear also path. Additionally, reaches stabilization after certain number cycles both cyclings. These results can be applied develop reliable plasticity model for investigating degradation cumulative wheel-rail contact.
