摘要: The goal of image processing for archaeological applications is to enhance spatial patterns and/or local anomalies linked ancient human activities and traces palaeo-environments still fossilized in the modern landscape. In order make satellite data more meaningful archaeologists exploitable investigations, reliable may be carried out. Over years a great variety digital enhancement techniques have been devised specific application fields according availability. Nevertheless, only recently these methods captured attention also field archaeology an easier extraction quantitative information using effective semiautomatic processing. setting up fully-automatic methodologies big challenge strategically addressed by research communities next years.
