摘要: The interferon (IFN) system is one of the first lines defense activated against invading viral pathogens. Upon secretion, IFNs activate a signaling cascade resulting in production several stimulated genes (ISGs), which work to limit replication and establish an overall anti-viral state. Herpes simplex virus type 1 ubiquitous human pathogen that has evolved downregulate IFN response lifelong latent infection sensory neurons host. This review will focus on mechanisms by host innate immune detects HSV-1 virions, subsequent generated infection, evasion strategies developed evade latency
