Using fuzzy DEMATEL for evaluating supplier selection criteria in manufacturing industries

摘要: The concept of supply chain management (SCM) has received increasing attention from academicians, consultants and business managers. In the highly competitive scenario, suppliers play a vital role in making organisation successful. Supplier selection depends on experts' assessments. process that, it inevitably involves various types uncertainty such as imprecision, fuzziness incompleteness due to inability human being's subjective judgement. This paper tries evaluate influence effective factors supplier by using fuzzy DEMATEL method. this regard, three main criteria including management, logistics organisational dimensions with 15 sub-criteria identified. Twenty experts academics practitioner have participated study. Results show that planning, partnership collaboration most causal effect other cost is mostly affected manufacturing industry selection.
