摘要: This report provides the first estimates of genetic basis all key breast muscle myopathies (BMM) in broiler chickens [Deep pectoral myopathy, wooden breast, white striping and spaghetti breast] their relationship with body weight yield. Data from a pure bred high yielding commercial line were analysed to estimate parameters using multivariate animal model appropriate fixed effects permanent environmental effect dam. Heritabilities BMM ranged 0.04 0.25 correlation yield -0.06 0.41. Here we highlight that variance accounts for low proportion phenotypic have performance traits. The large contribution residual BBM was >71.5% which indicates importance non-genetic on BMM. data presented also show moderate influence development can be used, through balanced selection, reduce myopathy incidence long term. impact selection against tested empirically by comparing WB % generation (HG) broiler. HG used represents 2 years improvement compared broiler; had an 18.4% relative decrease 1.02% increase paper describes between factors influencing highlighting understanding incidence. It shows component reduced whilst at same time improving as part breeding goals.
