摘要: Immunoneutralization of endogenous follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) adult male monkeys leads to oligospermia and infertility despite unchanged testosterone levels, The inability these impregnate repeated exposures cycling females appeared be due abnormal alterations in the kinetics germ cell transformations deficient spermiogenesis. Here we investigated stability sperm chromatin oFSH-immunized as a marker for susceptibility spermatozoa vitro decondensation induced by dithiothreitol (DTT, 0.05-50 mM) was studied measuring nuclear fluorescence DTT-treated, ethidium bromide (EB)-stained using flow cytometry. Changes morphology binding thiol-specific C-14-iodoacetamide (C-14-IA) were also monitored under same conditions. Sperm from immunized decondensed at lower concentration DTT, bound more EB, extensively than those control animals. difference apparent all regions epididymis. Immunized monkey significantly C-14-IA concentrations DTT. Overall, effective DTT required elicit 50% maximal (ED50) epididymal ejaculated even caput controls. These results suggest that FSH deprivation production with limited potential disulfide formation reduced stability.
