摘要: Background In idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy (IDC), myocardial deformational parameters and their mutual relationships remain incompletely characterized. Methods Thirty-seven patients with IDC underwent two-dimensional speckle-tracking echocardiography (2D-STE) to assess left ventricular rotation, torsion, longitudinal, circumferential, radial systolic diastolic strains strain rates. Additionally, 2D-STE was performed in 14 controls. Results All on were significantly lower compared Seven exhibited opposite basal (positive, counterclockwise) 11 apical (negative, clockwise) rotation at end-systole. Circumferential, radial, longitudinal early rates correlated most strongly the corresponding spatial components of deformation. Conclusion IDC, all torsional, systolic, decreased. Corresponding three-dimensional deformations closely coupled. Considerable variation direction exists a subset IDC.
