摘要: Efforts to engage patients and consumers in comparative effectiveness research (CER) the USA are still early stages, outcomes of these partnerships have yet be fully understood or realized. Our work assisting federal agencies national organizations who CER reveal three unresolved tensions around representation patient experience process, culture capacity partner with consumers, conflict between methodological approaches interest caregivers. Several address emerged, resolving will require addressing many system-level challenges building an evidence base for consumer engagement CER.
