摘要: Monocytes play a critical role in defending the host against foreign organisms and regulating behavior of other cells. circulate as nonadherent cells blood migrate adherent through tissues. Adhesion molecules mediate not only cell adhesion, but also migration, phagocytosis, many adhesion-dependent functions. Monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) is thought to be responsible for monocyte recruitment acute inflammatory conditions may an important mediator chronic inflammation. In this study, immunofluorescence flow cytometry was used determine whether MCP-1 can regulate surface expression adhesion molecules, particularly beta-2 alpha-4 integrins leukocyte molecule-1. We found that induced CD11c (p150,95 alpha-subunit) CD11b (Mac-1 alpha-subunit), caused little or no change CD11a (lymphocyte function-associated Ag-1 very late activation Ag-4, demonstrated antibodies inhibited MCP-1-induced chemotaxis. showed capable inducing IL-1 IL-6, TNF production monocytes. These results indicate novel cytokine with capacity several parameters function.
