摘要: Vermicompost of the toxic and allelopathic weed parthenium (Parthenium hysterophorus) was explored for its possible use as an organic fertilizer. Replicated plant growth trials were conducted using four levels vermicompost (0, 2.5, 3.75, 5 t/ha) to assess their effects on germination, growth, fruition a typical food ladies finger (Abelmoschus esculentus). Additionally role in reducing pests disease evaluated. encouraged germination at all application, with best results obtained 5 t/ha treatments. The positive impact extended up fruit yield. application also improved quality fruits terms mineral, protein, carbohydrate contents, reduced incidence pest attacks. studies establish fact that acquires qualities good fertilizer concomitant loss properties after it gets vermicomposted. findings raise prospects economical eco-friendly utilization billions tons biomass which is generated annually but goes waste present.
