摘要: Sudden death (SD) is defined as “a nontraumatic, unexpected fatal event occurring within 1 hour after the onset of symptoms in an apparently healthy subject.” “If not witnessed, definition applies when victim was good health 24 hours before event” (Eur Heart J 36(41):2793–2786, 2015). The sudden deaths can be subdivided into noncardiac deaths, cardiac (SCD) and unexplained (SUD). latter two categories comprise due to inherited diseases are discussed further this chapter.
