摘要: A 59-year-old male, referred to our center with a ruptured aortic aneurysm, underwent urgent endovascular repair and femoro-femoral crossover bypass. An endograft infection because of Aspergillus fumigatus occurred about 20 days after surgery. We removed the femoral prosthesis we then performed an aorto-bi-iliac bypass autogenous reversed superficial veins. Five days surgery, patient died. Microbiological examination postmortem showed presence A. in prosthesis, wall, periaortic exudate.
