摘要: Existing methods of estimating long-term corrosion loss are almost always based on time, with separate models for different atmospheric conditions (i.e., industrial, urban, rural, marine). Such do not account variation in environmental conditions, even though it is known that varies significantly factors. This research involved the formulation, calibration, and validation show effects environment four materials (carbon steel, zinc, copper, aluminum) two types specimens (flat helix). The were formulated a structure yields rational variables: time-of-wetness, sulfur dioxide, salinity, temperature. ISO CORRAG data obtained from 51 test sites 13 countries was used to calibrate coefficients eight models. prediction accuracy assessed using goodness-of-fit statistics. correlation ranged 0.532 0.834 Using independent calibration data, validated. results indicate reliable use broad range or locations. temporal each factors also discussed. Both suggest components can be other time-dependent assess conditions.
