摘要: article i nfo The stable isotopes of carbon were analysed in total wood and cellulose from the tree-rings tropical species Cariniana micrantha (Ducke). aim was to examine isotopic relationship between its celluloseoverthe lasttwo anda halfcenturies. Although thecorrelation for thewhole time period isvery high (r = 0.96) it is remarkable that different sub-periods deviate strongly this close relationship. Consequently, a good correlation subset longer record cannot necessarily prove validity whole record. study indicates changes show sometimes during short isotope patterns presumably caused by environmental effects. Thoroughcalculationsindicate strongvariations withintheisotopicrecordespecially ofthe level along chronology lead correlations δ 13 Cwood Ccel. Contrary thereto subsections
