摘要: The burden of mother-to-child transmission rate HIV is high and risk factors are common in Ethiopia. This systematic review meta-analysis intended to provide the pooled estimation its We searched PubMed, Google Scholar, EMBASE Web Science electronic databases for all available references. included observational studies including case-control, cohort, cross-sectional studies. search was further limited conducted Ethiopia publish English. Heterogeneity checked using I2 statistic. Egger’s test funnel plot were used assess publication bias. A a weighted inverse variance random-effects model performed. total 18 with 6253 individuals this meta-analysis. Of these, 14 4624 estimate prevalence. estimated prevalence 11.4% (95% CI = 9.1–13.7). adjusted odds ratio (AOR) infants from rural area 3.8 CI = 1.4 6.3), delivered at home 3.2 CI = 1.2 5.2), infant didn’t take antiretroviral prophylaxis 5.8 CI = 1.5 10.3), mother 6.1 CI = 2.5 9.6), mothers receive PMTCT intervention 5.1 CI = 1.6, 8.6), on mixed feeding 4.3 CI = 1.8 6.7). showed that Being residence, delivery, not taking prophylaxis, absence intervention, practices increased transmission.
