摘要: Pelvic floor disorders are common and can negatively impact quality of life. Imaging patients with pelvic has been extremely heterogeneous between institutions due in part to variations clinical expectations, technical considerations, radiologist experience. In order assess utilization technique imaging across practices, the society abdominal radiology (SAR) disease-focused panel on dysfunction developed administered an online survey radiologists including SAR membership. Results were compared published recommendations for identify areas need further standardization. MRI was most commonly reported followed by fluoroscopic defecography. Ultrasound only used a small minority responding radiologists. The responses demonstrated variability utilization, patient referral patterns, protocols, education, interpretation reporting examinations. This highlighted inconsistencies as well potential gaps knowledge that should be addressed standardize evaluation dysfunction.
