摘要: New onset diabetes mellitus after transplantation (NODAT) is a serious and frequently observed complication following solid organ transplantation. Kidney transplant recipients who develop NODAT are at increased risk of fatal non-fatal cardiovascular events other adverse outcomes including infection, reduced patient survival, graft rejection, accelerated loss compared with those do not diabetes. Identification high-risk patients implementation measures to reduce the development may improve long-term outcome. The chapter presents an overview literature on current diagnostic criteria for NODAT, its incidence transplantation, suggested factors, potential pathogenic mechanisms. impact allograft guidelines early identification management will also be discussed.
