摘要: This article uses matched pairs of sons and their parents from the National Longitudinal Surveys: Old Cohort Databases to investigate relationship between marital history parents, educational attainment, intergenerational correlations in earnings. The research indicates that patterns earnings mobility vary with divorce. Sons families whose divorced had relatively low have a greater chance having themselves. also shows much variation can be explained by lower attainment for children families. finding highlights importance designing policies assist those most likely affected
