摘要: The aim was to develop a visuoperceptual profile schema reflecting strengths and weaknesses, using neuropsychological tests. Secondly, this used quantify individual profiles of children with without cerebral visual impairment (CVI), identify differences in their profiles. Clinical records (2001-2018) 630 (386 males, 244 females; median age 77 months; interquartile range 63-98 months) suspected for CVI were reviewed. Neurological history, results, ophthalmological, neuroimaging data retrieved. To the schema, exploratory factor analyses (EFAs) performed, followed by Delphi study. In interviews, six experts asked "name different dimensions" "what dimensions are targeted each 24 subtests." reach consensus, two questionnaire rounds (44 statements 20 statements, respectively, five experts) followed. EFAs showed clinically uninterpretable results. study revealed seven dimensions; (1) discrimination matching, (2) object or picture recognition, (3) spatial perception, (4) figure-ground (5) motion (6) short-term memory, (7) scene perception. most discriminating between no object/picture recognition (r = 0.56), perception = 0.52), matching = 0.47), = 0.39). Motion memory (both r = 0.22) less discriminating. Two case studies illustrate how apply characterize dysfunction intact functions. Visuoperceptual profiling can serve as basis individualized therapies heterogeneous disorders.
