摘要: This paper is an attempt to assess the impacts of off-site and on-site resettlement projects in Indore by comparing slum dwellers lives before after implementation projects, complimenting corroborating a sister based on fieldwork Ahmedabad (Patel, Sliuzas, Mathur, & Miscione, fortcoming). The impact analysis indicators impoverishment risks due displacement formulated Cernea (2000a) his Impoverishment Risks Reconstruction (IRR) model. findings indicates presence following forms which proposed for displacees: significant loss household assets, increased joblessness or unemployment, access common services, health risks, marginalisation social disarticulation, all have compounded their vulnerability chances falling deeper into poverty. also argues that compared displacees were less affected negative consequences risks. concludes with recommendations policies local government so can be reasonably averted.
