Endoscopic Nd-YAG laser therapy of gastric polyposis

摘要: Thirteen patients with gastric polyposis (113 polyps) were treated by endoscopic Nd-YAG laser irradiation. Among them there five cases adenomas, six hyperplastic polyps and two inflammatory polyps. Ninety-six <1 cm, 13 ⩾ 1 four 2 cm. In the patient who had largest number of lesions, 22 found at examination. All but regularly followed up endoscopically for 2–5 years after treatment showed no sign recurrence. Mild bleeding occurred in three cases. No perforation or any other serious complications occurred. The results encouraging. It is concluded that ablation effective, simple to perform, safe deserves recommendation.
