摘要: (1) The demography of the palm Astrocaryum mexicanum is described from a study six permanent plots in tropical rain forest Veracruz, Mexico, during 7 years. (2) There are differences between transition probabilities, survival and fecundity estimates for some age classes. (3) Yearly probabilities one stage to next about 0 10 individual individual-' year-' most stages. (4) This has survivorship pattern with high mortalities (0.69-0.95 year-') first stages life cycle almost no mortality (0-0.03) after its reproduction. (5) Individual shows an initial increase followed by constant values palms 70 years old. (6) Estimates finite rate (A) vary 0.9932 1.0399. average all plots, 1 0046, predicts doubling time population 150 (7) A sensitivity analysis . various demographic parameters that rates older four orders magnitude less important changing than growth intermediate
