Performance evaluation of AOMDV routing algorithm with local repair for wireless mesh networks

摘要: Recently, wireless mesh networks (WMNs) technology has gained a lot of attention in network research community. WMN is multi-hop wireless access where nodes can act both as router well host. One the factors that influence performance WMNs underlying routing protocol used. Thus, numbers different multipath protocols are proposed recent years. This paper addresses requirement local repair under high speed movement scene network, route breakage networks. In this context we have based AOMDV protocol, to maximize benefit algorithm achieve better metrics packet loss ratio and overhead delivery mobility Various  simulations with varying been conducted validate improvement against original AOMDV. Performance comparison between AOMDVLR analysed detail, showing proposed AOMDVLR achieved outcome certain scenarios.
