On the Use of Explanations as Mediating Device for Relevance Feedback

摘要: In this paper we examine the role of explanations as a means facilitating use relevance feedback in information retrieval systems. We do with particular reference to previous experimental work. This demonstrates that can increase user's willingness interact more fully system. outline general conclusions from work and discuss implications for interactive IR systems incorporate feedback.
