摘要: A bone repair material is described that of putty-like consistency, particularly useful for repairing dental bony defects such as those caused by loss resulting from moderate or severe periodontitis, augmenting the alveolar ridge, filling tooth extraction sites, sinus elevation grafting. The includes a porous, resorbable particulate bone-derived derived bone-like hydroxyapatite synthetic hydroxyapatite; and, carrier, high molecular weight polysaccharides, hyaluronic acid. concentration in putty enhances and requires carrier to retain at defect site. For density about 1.2 g/cc PEPGEN P-15® Bone Graft, preferred formulation comprises 55% percent suspended acid gel 1.4×10 6 daltons final 56 mg/cc which adheres periodontal does not excessively expand migrate when held place conventional flap closure.
