摘要: This paper presents the acute effects of cigarette smoking on blood flow to gingiva in 12 young smokers. Relative gingival (GBF) was measured by a laser Doppler fiberoptic probe placed 1 mm into buccal sulcus tooth no. 26. The continuously flux cells (velocity X number cells) crest. skin (SBF) forearm and heart rate were also monitored continously; pressure (BP) assessed at 5-min intervals. After resting for 5 min, subjects sham smoked an unlighted then cigarette, finally rested 25 min afterwards. Mean changes from all variables compared each block. GBF rose significantly above values during smoking, remained elevated first after (p less than 0.05). SBF decreased slightly but not depressed greater During BP increased over almost linearily when sulcus; this phenomenon did occur externally theory that impairs may be true humans.
