摘要: A re-analysis of the data from 11 case-control studies was performed to investigate association between head trauma and Alzheimer's disease (AD). To increase comparability studies, exposures were limited with loss consciousness (hereafter referred as 'head trauma') comparisons restricted community (versus hospital) controls. Test for heterogeneity across negative; consequently, pooled in subsequent analyses. The relative risk 1.82 (95% confidence interval: 1.26-2.67). Stratified analyses showed stronger associations cases without a positive family history dementia males females). Adjustment dementia, education alcohol consumption did not alter significantly AD. There no interaction effect suggesting that these factors operate independently. Mean age onset different compared such history. findings analysis support an reported
