摘要: A non-interlaced video camera has twenty four light pipes orthogonally terminated at its field of view, each pipe having a lens distal end focused spot on one plurality spinning, labeled bottles. For the spinning bottles, vidicon output is quantized, stored, and compared repetitively, over successive cycles, with an 8-bit pattern digital "dark" bits followed by "white" bits, match indicating that label edge passed sensing station several cycles previously so bottle may be stopped in desired position following settable delay. Video threshold samplings ensure integrity stored data; processing hardware time shared; timing synchronizes camera; cursor aids initial alignment. Data which changes modulo 192 preloaded memory (RAM) 193, advancing data cycle group caterpillar fashion, last-in/first-out basis. As to during cycle, reading new instantaneously read out such along acquired seven previous corresponding incremental angular displacements as it turning. In second embodiment, photodetectors replace serial replaces RAM; patterns are sensed, optional "don't care" bits.
