摘要: The characteristics of tribostimulated electron emission (called TriboEE) have been studied for real metal surfaces subjected to rubbing with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). A gas-flow Geiger counter a gas called Q was used observing the TriboEE. Metal samples were as follows: Ti, Zr (group 4 in periodic table); V, Nb, Ta 5); Mo, W 6); Fe 8); Co 9); Ni, Pd, Pt 10); Cu, Ag, Au 11); Zn 12); Al 13); and Sn 14). For metals same groups 4, 5, 6, 10, 11 number electrons ejected during time TriboEE total count) increased an increase period metal. surface fluorine content originating from PTFE debris attached at count almost independent photoelectric thresholds determined photoemission (PE) experiment throughout metals, while amount PE measurement tended decrease increasing threshold. potential (SP) unchanged before after measurement. Based on relation XPS, PE, SP results explained being associated release transported substrate by electric field.
